CUSTO BARCELONA presents its new Spring - Summer 2012 collection named "TRIPOLAR" at the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week in Lincoln Center.to a standing-room-only crowd of international editors, photographers and fans of the brand. In this SS 2012 collection garments are divided into three groups, each with its own identity and theme. This created spectacular presentation on the catwalk, empowering the collection with a triple personality.

Italian fabrics for men's suits were presented in Ruse
The high quality fabrics of the Italian brand Vitale Barberis Canonico, used mainly for men's suits, were presented on a fashion show in Ruse, Bulgaria. The foyer of the theater building gathered connoisseur of fashion, music and good wines. During the presentation of the fabrics from the models of Visages agency, the guests listened to the magnificent trio of tenors "The Unique voices" and had the opportunity to taste selected wines from "Rousse Winery".

Miss Universe 2011 is Miss Angola Leila Lopes
Miss Angola Leila Lopes was crowned as the new Miss Universe 2011 on the 60th edition of the contest in Brazil. Leila Lopes beat out the 88 other young women to win the world's largest beauty pageant. The jury selected her because of her beauty and intellect.
The first runner-up was the 23-year-old Olesia Stefanko from Ukraine and the second runner-up was Priscila Machado from the host country Brazil. The third runner-up was Miss Philippines and the fourth - Miss China.

Mrs. European Union contest took place in St. Vlas, Bulgaria
Hotel Saint George Palace in St. Vlas, Bulgaria was a center of the beautiful European event - the contest Mrs. European Union 2011.
The 30-year old Olena Koch from Germany is the new Mrs. European Union. She was crowned by Elena Karakoleva, last year winner. Elena was dressed in a black dress from the brand Enzoani for Celebrities 2012. The dress is made from 35 meters natural silk with laser-cut elements, hand embroidered flowers and Swarovski crystals. The outfit was given to Elena from the director of the company Dick van Zutphen, partner of Bridal Fashion.

Steven Tyler, Aerosmith’s lead singer is entering the world of fashion, designing a clothing line. He has teamed up with Andy Hilfiger, Tommy Hilfiger’s brother, for a ‘rock inspired’ clothing line for Macy’s called Andrew Charles.
Steven Tyler was the main inspiration for the Andrew Charles clothing line and will star in the ads alongside Chelsea Tyler, his 22 year old daughter. The women's wear was influenced by the wardrobe of the singer Stevie Nick.

Bulgarian fashion designer Dessislava Goranova - one of the 17 winners in 19th edition of the competition Mittelmoda
The winners of the 19th edition of Mittelmoda that took place in Gorizia on July 1, 2011 were 17 and came from all over the world. One of them was the Bulgarian designer Dessislava Plamenova Goranova. She was born on 12.07.1983 in Sofia and now studies at "Accademia di Belle Arti Lorenzo da Viterbo".

The Bulgarian fashion brand Denyl presented its new collection in a non-standard way. The clothes were painted on the bodies of the models.
We have used to see the new designer collections at traditional fashion shows, where nice models pass on the catwalk and show the new trends. Yesterday in Sofia took place a non-standard event. For the first time the models did not wear the clothes, they were painted on them. "Our aim was to make the clothes live. Everyone can dress a model and make it walk back and forth. But not everyone can make the clothes live", explained the organizer of the event and author of the idea Mariana Germanova.

On Friday, 8 July, was opened the 2011 edition of Europe Future Fashion. The nice atmosphere of hotel Le Meridien Lav gathered fashion experts and people from Split, who wanted to feel the fashion atmosphere. During the first evening famous designers from Croatia, France, Sweden Romania and Kosovo presented their new collections. The show was opened with ballet dances and the collection of Omnia Mei.

Gucci is launching a limited eco sunglasses collection
The Italian brand Gucci is launching a collection of eco sunglasses. The new glasses are made from an acetate high in natural materials, using less petro chemicals or a material made from castor seeds. And the both new materials look pretty similar to normal sunglasses material.
In this initiative Gucci is hand in hand with Safilo Group - the company which manufacturing sunglasses and optics for most famous brands like Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Yves Saint Laurent.

Designer Madeline Gardner, creative director of the brand Mori Lee has created a copy of the famous wedding dress. She made a sketch of the dress during the ceremony and for 24 hours with her team she made a copy of the outfit. The original dress is made by designer Sarah Burton.
