International fashion designers contest Men's Style - Join it in April
Men's Style is a project for business support of the fashion designers.
It is not like the regular fashion contests. It fully supports the creation of the collections of men's suits of the designers by providing all the materials and sewing one piece from the models, which is then presented in a photoshoot. Then the collection is offered for sale online as made-to-measure and it is also presented on fashion fairs in Europe and USA.

The crown of Miss Earth 2013 is for Venezuela
Twenty three year old Alyz Henrich from Venezuela is the new Miss Earth. The final ceremony was held on December 7, 2013 at Versailles Palace, Philippines.
This is a double victory for Venezuela this year after María Gabriela Isler won Miss Universe 2013 title.

Huishan Zhang Announced Winner of 2013 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize
Huishan Zhang is the winner of the 2013 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize. The award was bestowed to the designer tonight at The Dorchester after a catwalk show featuring the four shortlisted designers of the prize. Huishan Zhang was presented with an endowment of £25,000 from Dorchester Collection's chief executive officer Christopher Cowdray, along with an engraved Baccarat crystal trophy and a stay at a Dorchester Collection property, and in a new element launched this year, the prospect of one-to-one mentoring from a selection of the judges.
Megan Young was crowned Miss World 2013
Megan Young, representing the Philippines, received the Miss World Crown from Wenxia Yu. With a huge array of music dancing, bright lights and of course 127 amazing contestants, Miss World 2013 came to a dramatic conclusion as the cast was cut to 20, then 10, before a final 6 were left on stage to answer the judges questions. Philippines, Brazil, Spain, Ghana, and France were the judges selection from the Top 10, before they were joined by the wildcard People's Choice Gibraltar, who received the most votes on the Miss World 2013 application.

Irina Lazova from Bulgaria has been selected for 'The Lycra - Future Designer Award'.
She graduated from London College of Fashion in June, 2013. Previously, she has a BA in Public Relations and considerable experience in the field of advertising. These activities have helped her to build her design style, modern and bold, but still focused on the consumer interest.
Her collection, which participates in the race, is described as' luxury sportswear "or sportswear for non-practising women.
Miss China is the new Miss World 2012
Miss China Yu Wenxia won the Miss World 2012 title in a competition with 116 contestants from all over the world in Ordos, China metropolis, located in Inner Mongolia, northern China.
Miss World 2011 Ivian Sarkos from Venezuela put the crown on the head of the new winner on the lavish ceremony, organized at the futuristic stadium "Dongsheng" in the city center, on the edge of the Gobi Desert.
Miss USA 2012 is the Rhode Island cellist Olivia Culpo
The 20-year-old cellist from Rhode Island Olivia Culpo won the Miss USA crown and will represent the United States in this year's Miss Universe pageant. She was chosen among 51 beauty queens on Sunday at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
She is a 2010 graduate of St Mary Academy Bay View, an all-girls Catholic school in Riverside, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She is a sophomore at Boston University.
Miss World 2011 is Ivian Lunasol from Venezuela
This evening in London took place the contest Miss World 2011, which had a record number of participants - 122. The crown of Miss World 2011 won the 21-year old beauty from Venezuela Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares, 179 cm. Her runner-ups are from the Philippines - Gwendoline RUAIS (2nd place) and Puerto Rico - Amanda PEREZ (3rd place). The top seven finalists were from Korea, Venezuela, England, Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Africa and Scotland.
The story of the beauty from Venezuela Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares is like a fairy tale. At the age of 8 years she became an orphan, when her parents died. Ivian was raised by the nuns in a convent in Tachira and was named Sora Ivian.
Miss Universe 2011 is Miss Angola Leila Lopes
Miss Angola Leila Lopes was crowned as the new Miss Universe 2011 on the 60th edition of the contest in Brazil. Leila Lopes beat out the 88 other young women to win the world's largest beauty pageant. The jury selected her because of her beauty and intellect.
The first runner-up was the 23-year-old Olesia Stefanko from Ukraine and the second runner-up was Priscila Machado from the host country Brazil. The third runner-up was Miss Philippines and the fourth - Miss China.
Miss Earth 2011 - "Smile for Earth, for All"

Mrs. European Union contest took place in St. Vlas, Bulgaria
Hotel Saint George Palace in St. Vlas, Bulgaria was a center of the beautiful European event - the contest Mrs. European Union 2011.
The 30-year old Olena Koch from Germany is the new Mrs. European Union. She was crowned by Elena Karakoleva, last year winner. Elena was dressed in a black dress from the brand Enzoani for Celebrities 2012. The dress is made from 35 meters natural silk with laser-cut elements, hand embroidered flowers and Swarovski crystals. The outfit was given to Elena from the director of the company Dick van Zutphen, partner of Bridal Fashion.
Bulgarian fashion designer Dessislava Goranova - one of the 17 winners in 19th edition of the competition Mittelmoda
The winners of the 19th edition of Mittelmoda that took place in Gorizia on July 1, 2011 were 17 and came from all over the world. One of them was the Bulgarian designer Dessislava Plamenova Goranova. She was born on 12.07.1983 in Sofia and now studies at "Accademia di Belle Arti Lorenzo da Viterbo".

The Miss Bulgaria 2011 contest in a special reality format
A lot of beauty and charm promise the organizers of this year's edition of the contest Miss Bulgaria, which will be held for the first time in a special TV reality format. Everyone will be able to sense the emotions directly on TV7.
Conferencier of the gala ceremony will be the Bulgarian pop folk singer Kamelia, mentor will be Azis. Official designer of the contest this year is the top designer Sofia Borisova. The dresses are specially made for the evening from silk chiffon, organdy, satin and Spanish taffeta.
Ustata As VIP Guest of Miss Argo Ribaritsa 2011
On 9th June at SPA hotel Argo in Ribaritsa, Bulgaria will take place the beauty contest Miss Argo-Ribaritza 2011. With this event will be opened the summer tourist season. The show will be conducted on the poolside of the hotel complex. 18 girls aged 16 to 26 years are among the contest participants, inform the hosts and sponsors from "Life Mode Bulgaria " and "BG Fashion". On 8th of June will be held the special "Talent evening", where participants will demonstrate their skills in singing, dancing and acting.
This year one of VIP guest-stars will be again the singer Ivan Dinev - Ustata. For the first time there will be a foreign guest - the singer Robert Benson from the Netherlands.
The most beautiful student from UNWE for 2011 was shining in a dress from Atelier SIMON
The most beautiful student from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia, Bulgaria was chosen on 28 April at the final of the contest Mr. and Miss UNWE 2011.
The 19-year old Gabriela Vasileva was shining at the event in a formal dress from Atelier SIMON. Designer Gergana Simeonova specially chose the outfits for each contestant to match her individuality.
Cracow Fashion Awards 2011
Cracow Fashion Awards, a Polish contest for young designers, has opened Cracow Fashion Week for the third time. Since 1996, Cracow Fashion Awards has annually promoted emerging talents in fashion design, who have recently graduated from Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design. The level of this year’s entries has been of an exceptionally high standard. The collections ranged from stunningly designed avant-garde outfits and evening-wear to modern street-wear and classic feminine elegance.
Vai-Vai Samba School wins 2011 São Paulo Carnival
São Paulo Carnival has already chosen its champions. Vai-Vai samba school was announced as 2011 great winner with the samba theme presentation "A música venceu!" (The music won), which celebrated the life and career of a renowned brazilian maestro, João Carlos Martins.
On friday 11th, Vai-Vai and other seven Carnival winners will present again at Sambadrome in Champion´s Parade.
Mrs. "Baba" 2011 competition was held in Sofia
On a special ceremony at Grand Hotel Sofia 44-year-old Daniela Tsvetanova became Mrs. Baba* for 2011. She charmed the jury with her stunning look and skills. Daniela is married for 28 years, she lives and works in Sofia and develop her own business, which makes her absolutely independent. She thinks that it’s very important for one woman to maintain and look good, even if she’s a grandma. Daniela is the grandmother of 8-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl.
Teresa Scanlan from Nebraska was crowned as Miss America 2011
Miss Nebraska 2010 Teresa Scanlan was crowned as Miss America 2011 friday night at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The final night of the 90th Anniversary of the Miss America Pageant presented by DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse was broadcast live from Las Vegas on ABC.
Teresa's triumphant walk across the stage was just the beginning of a journey that will take her to every corner of the country during her year of service as Miss America 2011.
Thomas Tait announced winner of the Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize
Thomas Tait is the winner of the 2010 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize. It was awarded last night in The Dorchester’s elegant Orchid Room where an intimate gathering of VIP guests mingled with the celebrated Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize judging panel.
The judges of the inaugural Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize included Manolo Blahnik, the Hon. Daphne Guinness, milliner Stephen Jones, Yasmin Le Bon, Giles Deacon, Vanity Fair contributing editor Elizabeth Saltzman, ES Magazine’s fashion director Gianluca Longo and Bronwyn Cosgrave, chairperson of the Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize.

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has been nominated for the British Fashion Council’s Designer Brand of the Year award.
The singer-turned-fashion designer, who launched her label in 2008 to rave reviews, has been shortlisted for the prestigious award, taking on fashion heavyweights such as Mulberry, Burberry and Pringle, reported Contactmusic.
Gorgeous beauties show slim bodies in a race for the crown of Miss Marilyn – Varna
After a serious casting, only 15 beauties were chosen to hit the stage in the amazing show. The contestants competed in various rounds of the competition, even in a creative task, that the jury of pop-folk star Alicia, the top model Petya Velkova, Super Bianca and pop singer Lubo gave to them.
The girls fought with dignity for the awards and many prizes, which were provided by the main sponsors Marilyn slims and vodka Flirt, as well as MAX FACTOR, SHISEDO and the attractive watches ICE WATCH.
Miss Universe 2010 is from Mexico
Eighty three models took part in the contest for the prestigious crown and the title Miss Universe 2010, among which 21 from Latin America. On Thursday were selected 15 semi finalists. Unfortunately, there was no Bulgarian participant in the contest this time.
The Mexican Jimena Navarrete was selected to become Miss Universe 2010.
Navarrete surprised everyone, as the expectations were that the crown will go to the representative of Ireland, Venezuela or USA.
